CMC Industrial Electronics was founded in 1997 with the mission to protect people, property, and operations through the designing, manufacturing, and marketing of hazard monitoring systems to the grain, feed, and milling industries. Starting with the end user in mind, CMC develops systems built around advanced technology that can be utilized easily and cost effectively. These values protect human life and property while also improving process efficiency and safety.
Doug Forst, the founder of CMC, has over 40 years of experience in bulk materials handling with a specialty in grain and feed industries. Doug had a strong desire to advance the state of monitoring technologies used in these industries, so he founded CMC to fulfill his mission.
